Della Rose Hudson, age 93 passed away Saturday June 29, 2024 at the Calcutta Senior Health Care Facility Calcutta, OH.

She was born January 21, 1931 in Port Homer, OH the daughter of the late Clarence Martin, Sr. and Edith (Dillon) Martin.

In addition to her parents, Della was preceded in death by her son, Donald E. Hudson in 2020; husband, Donald Eugene Hudson, Sr. in 2006 whom she married November 20, 1955; brothers, Charles, Carl, Clarence "Bob", Sr. and Elmer "Wimp" and Floyd Martin; Sisters, Marjorie Hubbs, Mildred and Blanche Martin, Clara Russell and Betty Johnson; grandson, Brian Leek and son-in-law, Richard Hart.

Della leaves behind her daughters, Donna Hart and Leona Leek of Wellsville, OH; grandchildren, Nathaniel Hudson, Benjamin Hudson, Samuel (Samantha) Hudson, Brandon (Michelle) Leek, Curtiss Hart and Elizabeth (Jason) Bilyj; eleven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild brothers, James (Kathleen) Martin of Hammondsville, OH; Jack Martin of Mingo Junction, OH and Donald "Chip" (Betty) Martin of Bellfontaine, OH; many nieces and nephews, one like a daughter, Edith Martin of Stratton, OH.

Visitation hours for Della will be held Saturday July 6th from 11:30 am to 1 pm at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto followed by a celebration service of her life at 1 pm Saturday with Pastor Dirk Hall officiating. Internment will follow at the Sugar Grove Union Cemetery on County Road 68 Sugar Grove.
