Della M. Skinner - Age 81 - of Empire, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, February 12, 2002.She was born June 14, 1920, in Toronto, the daughter of the late Arch and Margaret Reese Miller.Della was a member of the Empire United Methodist Church, where she had taught Sunday School and was active in the Womens Missionary Society and the church''s food pantry.Della loved her church, her family and was an avid reader and liked to write poetry. She also enjoyed the simple things in life.She was also a member and did volunteer work for the Retired Senior Volunteer Program.Della was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John F. Skinner, woh passed away in 1976; two brothers and one sister.She is survived by:Daughter: Mrs. Paul ( Eleanor ) Ferry of Irondale, Ohio3 Grandchildren and 4 Great grandchildrenThere will be a family visitation and Memorial Service at Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main Street, Toronto, with grandson-in-law, Pastor Mike Ingole officiating.
