Della Marie Hartline, age 74 of Steubenville, a former resident of Empire, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020.

She was born January 20, 1946 in Toronto the daughter of the late William E. and Violet Ruth (Hanlon) Toy.

Della was a member of the Knoxville Wesleyan Holiness Church.

Besides her parents, Della was preceded in death by a son, John W. Hartline, Jr.; grandchildren, Melissa Hartline; brothers, Terry Lee Toy and John Eugene Toy; sisters, Joanna Toy, Nora Mae Carouthers, Emma Miller and Ruth Violet Toy;,; and brother-in-law, Leonard Tharp.

Della is survived by her husband, John W. Hartline, Sr. whom she married November 10, 1962; son, Eric L. (Ashley) Hartline of Toronto; grandchildren, Mikayla (Alex) Sullivan, Erica Nicole Hartline and Johnathan Dakota Hartline, Travis and Christopher Toy; great-granddaughter, Myra Jane Peters; daughter-in-law, Cathy Hartline and ; sisters-in-law, Linda (Leroy) Rosenberger, Tina (David) Waggoner and Jeri Hartline. Several nieces and nephews survive.

A memorial service for Della will be held at the Knoxville Wesleyan Holiness Church at a later date to be announced.

Memorial contributions in memory of Della may be sent to the Clarke Funeral Home to help her family.
