Donald N. Freas, Sr. - Age 72- died Saturday, November 3, 2001 at the Carriage Inn of Steubenville, Ohio.
Donald was born September 30, 1929 in Steubenville the son of the late Loran and Gabriel Theret Freas.
He was a member of the Riverview United Methodist Church, Toronto.
Donald was a Korean War veteran serving in the U.S. Army.
He was retired from Weirton Steel Company as a welder in the Steel Works.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Eleanor Darrah Freas who passed away August 16, 1997 and whom he married April 28, 1957. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Loran Freas. Donald''s survivors are: 1 Son: Donald N. Freas, Jr. of Bloomingdale, Ohio 1 Daughter: Laura Withrow of Streetsboro, Ohio 2 Brothers: Gordon Freas of Bloomingdale, Ohio Terry Freas and wife Linda of Bloomingdale, Ohio 2 Sisters: Rhoda Cable of Toronto, Ohio Mrs. George ( June ) Granatir of Wintersville, Ohio 2 Grandchildren: Nathan and Rachael Withrow of Streetsboro, Ohio There will be no visitation hours. A private family graveside service will be held at Toronto Union Cemetery with Reverend Robert Phillips officiating. Memorial contributions in memory of Donald may be made to the Riverview United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 348, Toronto, Ohio 43964.
