Donald E. Hudson Sr., age 75 of Wellsville, went home to be with the lord on Saturday, October 21, 2006.Born December 4, 1930 in Wellsville, he is the son of the late Helen Calhoun Malone. Don was raised by his Grandmother Minnie Calhoun, an Uncle Wilbur (Scrubby) Calhoun, and an Aunt Edith Peterson. He attended the Port Homer Community Church, and was a retied as a Mechanic, Bus Driver and Truck Driver, working at Atlas Clay, Ohio Valley Charters and Tours, and for the Beaver Local School District. He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving as a Lance Corporal in the Korean War.In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Hudson, and Daniel Watson, and a sister Florence George.Donald is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mrs. Della Martin Hudson of the home, a son Donald E. Hudson Jr. of Independence, Kentucky, two daughters, Leona Leek and Mrs. Donna Hart and her husband Richard all of Wellsville. Seven Grandchildren, Nathaniel Hudson, Benjamin Hudson (U.S. Army), Samuel Hudson (U.S. Marine Corps), Brian Leek, Brandon Leek (U.S. Marine Corps), Curtiss Hart, and Elizabeth Hart, a great grandson Jacob Nathaniel Hudson, and two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Hooper of East Liverpool, Ohio, and Mrs. Elaine Lunger of Negley, Ohio.Family and Friends will gather for visitation on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main St. Toronto. 740-537-1234/800-588-1446A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Dirk Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery.
