Donald Joseph Blair, age 85 of Steubenville. OH passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville, OH.

He was born February 14, 1932 in Steubenville, OH the son of the late Wilford Henry Blair and Anna Marie (Gorman) Blair.

Donald was a member of St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, Steubenville, OH, Weirton Community Center and the Weirton Senior Citizens. He was a 1949 graduate of Steubenville High School.

He served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army and was retired as quality control foreman from the Koppers Chemical Company in Follansbee, WV.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; son, Donald R. Blair in 2006 and brothers, Richard, William and Robert Blair.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Agnes (Kilmartin) Blair whom he married July 8, 1957; son, Brian P. Blair of Toronto, OH; daughter, Donna J. Blair of Akron, OH; grandchildren, Patrick and Casey Blair of Steubenville, OH and Erin and Zachary Taylor of Akron, OH; great-grandson, Aryen Thompson of Steubenville, OH.

A Full Liturgy with Mass memorial will be celebrated 11 A.M Tuesday, January 23rd at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, 425 N. Fifth St., Steubenville. OH with celebrant the Reverend Father Timothy Huffman officiating.

A visitation will be held from 10 A.M. to the time of Mass at 11 A.M.

Interment will take at a later date at the Toronto Union Cemetery with full

Military honors.
