Donna Jean Nemitt, age 83 a homemaker of Toronto, OH passed away Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH.

She was born November 10, 1931 in Zalia, WV the daughter of the late Preston E. and Odessa (Stevenson) Jones.

Donna was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church of Toronto, OH.

She was a 1949 graduate of Toronto High School; a graduate of the Grace Downs School in New York City completing her studies to become an airline stewardess. Upon completion she was employed by Eastern Airlines. She had also been employed as a secretary for the Follansbee Steel Mill Company and the Weirton Steel Company. After her employments she became a full time mom and homemaker proud to raise her five children.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother and brother Thomas Edward Jones; sisters, Kitty Hupp and Marlene Bearden.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Michael Nemitt of the home whom she married July 31, 1954; children, Mary Jo (Robert) Morris of Toronto, OH, Cathleen M. (Daniel) Wyand of Ashland, OH, Joseph D. "Buck" (Kim) Nemitt of Toronto, OH, Paul R. (Jeanette) Nemitt of Toronto, OH and Cary A. (John) Krol of Moon Township, PA; grandchildren, Christina (Shane) Bretz, Kim (Mike) Lowiec, Sean Wyand, Jaime (Carmen) DeStefano, Zachary, Madelyn and Savannah Krol and Joey Nemitt; step-grandchildren, Monica and J.J. Miclea; great-grandchildren, Caleb and Easton Bretz and Benjamin Lowiec.

Friends and family will gather for Donna's visitation 2 to 5 P.M. Wednesday, June 3rd at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH, 740-537-1234. There will be additional visitation from 10 to 11 A.M. Thursday, June 4th at the funeral home.

A Vigil Service will be held 2:15 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Services for Donna will be held 11 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home with celebrant the Reverend Father Thomas Vennitti. Interment will follow at the Island Creek Cemetery, Church Road- County Road 46, Toronto.
