Obituary

Doris L. Moore, age 75 of Toronto, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2006 at her home.Born October 20, 1929 in Toronto, she is a daughter of the late Charles B. and Frances L. Gritton Leasure. She is a 1947 Graduate of Toronto High School, and is a member of the Riverview United Methodist Church in Toronto. Doris was very active in her church, being a member of the choir and holding several offices. She has served on the Toronto City Health Board since 1984, and has also served many years on the Toronto Union Cemetery Board. Her memberships include the Toronto Beautification Committee and the Toronto High School Alumni Association.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Harold (Sam), Robert (Deak), and Wayne Leasure, and a sister Virginia Leasure.Doris is survived by her husband of 51 years, Donald J. Moore, whom she married July 16, 1955. A daughter Mrs. Terry Sue Sapp and her husband Larry, a grandson Aaron Sapp and his wife Jonie, two sister in laws, Mrs. Phyllis Leasue and Mrs. Dorothy Leasure, all of Toronto. A step-daughter Mrs. Jeanie Anderson and her husband Ronald of Centreville, Maryland, a step-grandson Todd Mohr of Berlin Maryland, two great-grandchildren, Miss Madison marie Sapp and Noah Shane Sapp, both of Toronto. Four nephews, Larry A"RedA" Leasure, Dan Leasure and his wife Maria, Richard Leasure and his wife Melissa, and David Leasure. A niece Miss Pam Leasure, a great nephew Todd Leasure and his wife Yvonne, and great niece Miss Emily Leasure.Family and friends will gather for visitation on Wednesday August 16, and Thursday August 17, 2006 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at the Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main St. Toronto. 740-537-1234/800-588-1446A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 18, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. William Hibbs officiating.
