Dorothy May Rudder  Henry, age 95 of Empire, OH passed away Friday. February 16, 2018 at the Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville, OH

She was born January 29, 1923 in Lisbon, OH

Dorothy was a member of the Empire United Methodist Church and the Ladies Grand Army of the Republic

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Ann (Morrow) Rudder; husband, John I. Henry in 1988; infant son, Larry Wayne Henry and sons,  Charles Rudder , John,  Chester William and Kenneth Payne Henry; daughter, Mary Walls; brothers, Norman, James, Robert Melvin and Walter Rudder and sisters, Florence Weaver and Gladys Honeycutt.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Fred Henry of Arizona and James Joseph Henry of Empire, OH and daughter, Dorothy D. Goray of Toronto, OH.  Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren survive and her dog Sammy.

Visitation hours for Dorothy will be held 2-4 & 6-8 Tuesday, February 20th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto.

A celebration service of Dorothy's life  will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday, February 21st at the funeral home with Pastor Susan Clegg officiating. Interment will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery.

Dorothy's family would like to thank Valley Hospice and the Country Club Manor for the wonderful care they gave Dorothy during her illness.
