Dorothy Eileen Shepherd, age 88 of Steubenville, passed away suddenly Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the U.P.M.C. Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born December 18, 1929 in Steubenville the daughter of the late  Jacob Shepherd and Elsie (Miller) Kotur.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and sister Katherine Bains.

She leaves behind her son William R. (Donna) Rogers of Richmond, OH; sisters, Vonda Britt of South Carolina, Joyce (Dan) Dean, and Evelyn Gettings of Toronto; grandson, Jedidiah (Shawntel) Rogers of Richmond, OH and granddaughter, Eileen (Allen) Kerns of New Philadelphia, OH.

Friends and family will gather for Dorothy's visitation 3-6  Saturday  March 31st at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto. A celebration of Dorothy's life will follow at 6 P.M.  Saturday at the funeral home.

Interment will take place at a later date at the Ft. Steuben Burial Estates.
