Douglas "Doug" Andrew Daugherty, age 56 of Toronto passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022 He was born December 15, 1965 in Steubenville the son of the late Andrew Jackson Daugherty in 2001 and Carolina May (Wright) Daugherty who survives. Doug belonged to the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1276 and the Toronto American Legion Post 86. He was an avid Steeler fan; loved to bowl and had bowled a 300 game and was a golfer. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Kris "Zero" Kelly in 2011 and had retired from the Ball Manufacturing Co. Doug is survived by his mother, Carolina M. (Wright) of Toronto; brother, Todd Daugherty of Toronto; sisters, Roberta (Nelson) Heber of East Liverpool, Cindy (John) Gabathuler and Melody Kelly all of Toronto. Visitation hours for Doug will be held Wednesday 5 to 8 PM July 27th at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto. A celebration of life service for Doug will be held 11 AM Thursday, July 28th with the Reverend Kevin Rinkes officiating. Interment will follow at the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Hookstown, PA Following services at the funeral home and the graveside service there will be a meal and time for fellowship at the Stratton John Abdalla Municipal Building.
