Edith May Murray, age 85 a homemaker of Toronto, OH passed away peacefully
Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the Gables Care Center, Hopedale, OH

She was born January 22, 1932 in Jefferson County, OH the daughter of the late Clarence Ray Hendricks and Agnes Malissa (Umensetter) Hendricks.

Edith was a member of the Richmond United Methodist Church, Richmond, OH where she was a choir member for many years and was a member of the Methodist Women's Association of the church. Edith was a 1951 graduate of Jefferson Union High School

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leroy D. Murray who passed away December 17, 2007 and whom she married July 3, 1954 and preceded in death by a grandson, Isaac Murray; brother, Warren "Bud" Hendricks; sisters, Helen Twaddle, Doris Vermillion, Thelma Camarota  and Grace Johnston.

Edith is survived by her daughters, Cheryl L. (Don) Clarke of Toronto, OH, Sharon R. Murray of Reynoldsburg, OH and Jennifer S. (Roy) Wells of Toronto, OH; sons, Donald L. (Gail) Murray of Toronto, OH and Larry R. (Amie) Murray of Richmond, OH; grandsons, Matthew A. (Stephanie) Waggoner of Middlebourne, WV, Jesse L. Murray of  North Port, Florida, Kevin J. (Amber) Rawson of Bloomingdale, OH, Zachary J. Murray of Toronto, OH, Trevor R. Murray of Toronto, OH and Ryan B. Wells of Toronto, OH,

Visitation hours for Edith will be held 2-4 & 6-8 Sunday, February 19th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH.

A celebration service of Edith's life will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 20th at the funeral home with Pastor Georgette Gaston officiating. Interment will follow at the East Springfield Cemetery.
