Edward L. Love, Jr., age 95 of Toronto, OH passed away Friday, September 2, 2016 at the Sienna Woods Nursing Home, Wintersville, OH.

He was born July 14, 1921 in Chester, WV the son of the late Edward L. Love, Sr. and Joan (Staunton) Love.

Local restaurant patrons might remember Ed giving out gold dollar coins to the kids he met.

Ed was retired as the owner-operator of the Love Heating and Air Conditioning Company in Toronto, OH from 1950 to 2002; was a 1939 graduate of Chester High School and served his country in W.W.II serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps in the European Theatre of Operations.

Besides his parents Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite J. "Peg" (Van Fossan) Love in 2012 whom he married November 23, 1943 and an infant daughter, Nancy Ann Love in 1949.

Ed is survived by his daughter, Cheryl L. (Thomas) Cox of Boulder. CO; granddaughter, Amy (Alejandro) Siemel of Boulder, CO and great-grandchildren, Alec Blaine Siemel and Sierra Love Siemel.

Private interment at the Riverview Cemetery, East Liverpool, OH will be held at the convenience of Ed's family.

Memorial contribution in Ed's memory may be made to the donor's choice of Charities.
