Edward M. Rock - age 92 - of Toronto passed away Friday - November 26, 2010 surrounded by his loving family at the Trinity Medical Center - West, Steubenville, Ohio.He was born August 24, 1918 in Toronto the son of the late John Rock, Sr. and Josephine Petras Rock.Ed is a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church of Toronto. He is a lifetime member and Past Commander of Toronto American Legion Post # 86 where he had received the Legionnaire of the year award. He also had memberships in the Toronto V.F.W. Post #6906 and the Toronto Order of Eagles Aerie # 1276.Besides his family, church and friends, Ed loved to serve and work at the Toronto American Legion Post #86.He was a W.W. II Army-Air Force Staff Seargent veteran having served his country in the India-Burma Theatre of Operations.Ed was retired from the Titanium Metals Corporation of Toronto working from 1957 to 1981 (24 years).
