Edward Eugene Stock age 70, of Wintersville OH, passed away suddenly Monday August 25 th , 2025, at Dixon Nursing Home. He was formerly from Empire, OH. He was born on Sept 30 th , 1954. He was the son of the late Joseph Alexander and Ella Geraldine (Little) Stock. Ed was a member of the Empire United Methodist Church in Empire OH. He retired from Applied Dynamics where he was a press operator. Ed loved animals and loved to be outdoors. He was an avid fisherman where he always brought a "I caught a big fish" tale home to brag about. Ed was the king of the bullshitters, loved joking around and having a good ole time with an occasional prank thrown in the mix at times to keep people on their toes. Ed also loved binge watching The Big Bang Theory. He is preceded in death by his son A.J. Dornbush, Brothers: Joseph Stock, William "Rock" Stock, Charles "Bessie" Stock, Thomas "Plummer" Stock, Sister Wilhemina "Willie" Wells, Nephew Daniel Aaron Stock, and Niece Juanita Rebecca Wells. Ed Is survived by his wife Darlene Stock of Wintersville, OH. Also Surviving are his sister Myrtle Patterson (Richard) of Lockport New York and former wife and mother of his children, Anne Brier of Weirton, WV. Children Anne Ferraro (Nicholas) of Toronto, OH, Loretta Manzanarez of Cincinnati, OH, Theresa Smith (Aaron) of Stratton, OH. Stepchildren Diane Trifonoff (John) of Steubenville, OH, Michael Mclaughlin (Angie) of Bingham, Minnesota, and Jack Mclaughlin (Jenn) of Rochester, Minnesota. Ed is also survived by his Grandchildren Nina, Joey, Rocco, Olivia, Luis, Andreas, Gael, Maddox, Mackenzie, and 1 Great Grandchild Jackson. Step grandchildren Jacob (Sara), Zachary (Tauni), Samantha (Luke), Jack Jr., Brian, Elijah, Jocelyn (Thomas), Austin, Melina, Kryin, Haygen, and McKenna. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are Saturday August 30 th , 2025, from 12 P.M. to 3 P.M. Service immediately following led by Angel Shook. Services will be in the care of Clark Funeral Home 302 Main Street, Toronto OH, 43964. Eds wishes were to be cremated. A graveside memorial service will be held later at the convenience of the family.
