Eleanor R. McLaughlin - Age 86 - of Steubenville a former Toronto resident, died Sunday, November 11, 2001 at the Carriage Inn in Steubenville.
Eleanor was born in Toronto, Ohio April 17, 1915 the daughter of the late Theodore and Flora Gritton Keeder.
Eleanor was a member of the former Fosterville United Methodist Church, Toronto, Ohio.
She was a member of the Chester Order of Eastern Star and the Sunrise Senior Citizens.
She was retired from the A.& P. Tea Company of Weirton, WV., Steubenville, Ohio, and Weirton Heights, WV.. She worked in the meat department for 26 years.
Eleanor was preceded in death by: Parents / Husband: George L. McLaughlin who passed away in 1973 and whom she married February 25, 1939. Eleanor''s survivors are: 1 Sister: Mrs. Katherine Conner of Toronto, Ohio Several Nieces and Nephews Friends and family will be received for visitation Wednesday November 14, 2001 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main Street, Toronto, Ohio. 740-537-1234 or 800-588-1446. A funeral service will be held Thursday November 15, 2001, 11:00 AM at Clarke Funeral Home with Reverend Robert Phillips officiating. Burial will take place at the New Cumberland Cemetery, New Cumberland, WV. Contributions in memory of Eleanor may be made to the donors choice.
