Elizabeth L. A"LorraineA" Sprowl, age 74 of Toronto, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at the Weirton Medical Center after a lengthy illness.Born October 3, 1932 in Richmond, Ohio, she is a daughter of the late Bernard P. A"PatA" and Sarah Ann Cutlip McCourt. She attended the New Somerset United Methodist Church, and is retired as a waitress.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Kenny Shannon, a daughter Sandra Kersey, Three Brothers, and Five sisters.Lorraine is survived by her husband, Rolland Sprowl of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Nancy Bowling and her husband Ed of Phoenix, Arizona, Mrs. Wanda Messel and her husband Ken of East Liverpool, Ohio, and Mrs. Reba Kellog of Wellsville, Ohio. A son, Harold Rotteger and his wife Diane of Phoenix, Arizona; a daughter - in- law, Mrs. Shirley Shannon of Toronto; a sister Mrs. Shirley Hudson and her husband Frank of New Somerset, Ohio; twenty one grandchildren; thirty Great-Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.In Keeping with Lorraine''s wishes, there will be no visitation as she had chosen to donate her body to Science. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the New Somerset United Methodist Church with Pastor Steve Smith officiating.Memorial contributions in Lorraine''s name may be made to either the New Somerset United Methodist Church or The American Cancer Society.
