Elsie L. Hood - Age 83, a homemaker, of Irondale, Ohio, died September 5, 2001 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, Ohio.
Elsie was born June 28, 1918 in Meigs County, Ohio the daughter of the late William Russell and Bertha Barber Reed.
She is a methodist.
Elsie was preceded in death by: Parents / Husband - Jesse Hood who passed away in 1972 / Three brothers / Leonard, William and George Reed.
Her survivors are:
3 Sons: Donald Lewis Hood and wife Laura of Irondale, Ohio James E. Hood and wife Margaret of Hammondsville, Ohio John R. Hood and wife Bobbie of Irondale, Ohio 2 daughters: Mrs. Frank ( Jeanne ) Mazur of Amsterdam, Ohio Mrs. Jim ( Peggy ) Adams of Steubenville, Ohio 1 Brother: Junior Reed of Wooster, Ohio 2 Sisters: Audrey Myers of Bergholz, Ohio Geraldine Ward of Reedsville, Ohio 14 Grandchildren / 6 Great-grandchildren Family and friends will be received for visitation hours 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Friday September 7, 2001 at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main Street, Toronto, Ohio. 740-537-1234 Or 800-588-1446 A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday September 8, 2001 at Clarke Funeral Home with Mr. John Keenan officiating. Burial will be at the Sugar Grove Cemetery.
