Ernest was born March 8, 1922 in Huntington, WV., the son of the late David Chambers and Shelly Mundy. He was the step-son of the late James Mundy.
He is a member of the North River Avenue Church of Christ - Toronto, Ohio.
He is a member of the Toronto American Legion Post No. 86
Ernest is a Veteran of W.W.II, serving in the U.S. Army. He served at the Normandy Invasion in Northern France and the European Theatre of Operations.
He is retired from the Weirton Steel Co. - Weirton, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father and two brothers - Kenneth and Marshal Chambers.
