Ethel Edith Johnston, age 88 of Toronto,  OH , a former resident of Wellsville, OH, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018.

She was born December 5, 1929 in Empire, OH the daughter of the late William and Edna (Skinner) Dunlevy.

Ethel was a member of the Bible Holiness Grandview Mission, Chester, WV and was a 1948 graduate of Toronto High School.

She had formerly been employed at the Isaly's Restaurant in Steubenville, OH.

Ethel was preceded in death by her, husband, George Johnston, Jr. in 1996 whom she married July 1, 1952 and a brother, Wayne Dunlevy.

She is survived by her sister, Gladys Ruth (Joseph) Allen of Toronto, OH; nieces, Beth Dunlevy of Toronto, OH and Elizabeth (Brian) Strubhar of Wellsville, OH; nephew, Bill Dunlevy of Empire, OH; four great-nieces and one great-nephew.

Ethel's arrangements are private and are in the care of the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St, Toronto, OH.

Private interment will take place at the Sugar Grove Union Cemetery, County Road 68,  Toronto, OH.
