Frances Ilene "Fran" Racz McTheny, age 81 of Toronto, OH passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Meadows of Cadiz, Cadiz, OH.

She was born September 5, 1937 in Stratton, OH

Fran was a member of the Stratton Church of the Nazarene where she had served as secretary of the church and taught Bible school. She had formerly been employed as a secretary for the Voto Manufacturing Company of Steubenville, OH and was a 1955 graduate of Toronto High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Erma (Treadway) Racz; husband, Ronald Wayne McTheny January 28, 2018 whom she married June 30, 1962 and a sister, Donna Halfhill.

Fran is survived by her son, John Harlon McTheny and her daughter Kerry Ilene McTheny both of Toronto, OH; sister, Peggy (Pete) Mushrush of Toronto, OH and a brother, Donald Racz of

Stratton, OH.

Visitation hours for Fran will be held 2-4 & 6-8 Sunday, January 6th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH.

A celebration service of Fran's life will be held 11 A.M. Monday, January 7th at the funeral home with the Reverend Eric Frey officiating. Interment will follow at the Sugar Grove Union Cemetery, County Road 68, Toronto, OH.

Fran's family wishes to give a very special thank you to the Meadows of Cadiz Nursing Home and Dr. William Johns for the wonderful care they gave Fran.
