Frank E. McEwen Sr., age 72 of Toronto, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2006 at Acuity Specialty Hospital at Trinity Medical Center East - Steubenville.Born August 23, 1934 in Toronto, he is a son of the late Wilbur (Mac) and Nora Toy McEwen. Frank is retired from the former Ohio Edison Company (First Energy) O.H. Sammis Plant; he was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and was Presbyterian by faith.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Frank E. McEwen III and a sister Pearl (Slugger) McEwen.Frank''s survivors include a son, Frank E. McEwen Jr. and his wife Nadine of Toronto; two daughters, Mrs. Nora (Tip) McCourt and her husband Jim of Waverly, Ohio and Mrs. Cheryl (Cook) Fetsko and her husband Andy of Hilliard, Ohio: a brother Jim McEwen and his wife Avanel of Lakeland, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Larkins, and Mrs. Alberta (Toots) Larkins and her husband Dick, all of Toronto. Six Grandchildren, Seventeen Great-Grandchildren, and One Great-Great-Grandchild.Family and friends will gather for visitation on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main St. Toronto. 740-537-1234/ 800-588-1446A celebration of Frank''s life service will be held Wednesday evening at 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor George W.
