Frederick Alan "Rick" Black, age 44 of East Springfield, OH passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016 in Orange, TX as a result of a pedestrian accident.

He was born September 11, 1972 in Steubenville, OH the son of the late William and Ava (Hartman) Montgomery.

Rick was a 1991 graduate of Edison Local High School; liked to do construction work and was employed by the Hydro-Chem Company of Canal Fulton, OH.

He is survived by his son, Stephen Tyler Bork of Tiltonsville, OH; daughter, Kylee Rashel Bork of East Springfield, OH; brothers, Donald E. (Danielle) Wells and Michael Wells all of Steubenville, OH; step-sister, Debbie (Bob) Payne of Toronto, OH; step-brothers, Billie (Tracy) Montgomery, Mike (Paula) Montgomery and Paul (Deanna) Montgomery all of Toronto, OH.

Visitation hours for Rick will be held from 12 pm noon to 2 pm and from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, Tuesday, October 18th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto.

A celebration service of Rick's life will be held  7:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Renforth officiating.

Friends and family are invited to a luncheon from 2 pm to 5:30 pm Tuesday at the Cornerstone Church, 423 Clark St., Toronto.

Memorial contributions for Rick may be made to the Clarke Funeral Home to help Rick's family
