Gail Howard Grose, age 59 had moved to Gulfport, Florida 30 years ago and had been a former resident of Toronto, OH. He passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, FL.

He was born October 4, 1955 in Steubenville, OH the son of the late Byrl H. Grose and Jacqueline V. (Tice) Horkulic and was raised by his late step-father, Joseph M. Horkulic, Sr.

Gail was a former member of the St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church of Toronto where he had served as an altar boy.
Besides his parents and step-father he was preceded in death by a brother, David Grose along with several aunts and uncles. Gail is survived by his wife, Saundra (Truax) Grose whom he married November 24, 1990; sister, Susan A. (Charles) Long of Bergholz, OH; brothers, Joseph M. (Debbie) Horkulic, Jr. of Toronto, OH; John M. Horkulic of Spring Hill, FL and Jeffrey S. (Becky) Horkulic of Steubenville, OH. Several nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles also survive. A Divine Liturgy with the intention of sister Susan Long''s deceased brother Gail for the Immaculate Conception Holy Day will be held 5:00 P.M. Monday, December 8, 2014 at the St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church,814 N. Fifth St. Toronto with Celebrant the Reverend Father John Kapitan, Jr. According to Gail''s wishes he was cremated in Florida and his cremation will be interred in the Sugar Grove Union Cemetery next to his brother David Grose at a later date at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in memory of Gail may be made to the St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church, 814 N. Fifth St., Toronto, OH 43964 Local arrangements are in the care of the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.
