Geneva F. McConnell Long, age 86 of Canton, formerly of Toronto, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2005 at Belden Village Manor Care Center - Canton.Born August 28, 1918 in Toronto, she is a daughter of the late John W. and Ada Bell Wilson McConnell. She was a Methodist by faith, and was the owner of Wells Beauty Shop in East Liverpool.In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, William B. Long, whom she married February 6, 1943 and who passed away on January 1, 1998. Three brothers Donald, Jack, and Billy, and a sister Grace also precede her.Her survivors include a sister, Mrs. Ada Bell Huff of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Claude McConnell of Arizona, and myriad nieces and nephews.Family and friends will gather for visitation on Wednesday, June 8, 2005 from 6-9 P.M. at the Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main St. Toronto. 740-537-1234/800-588-1446A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev.
