George P. Bright, Jr. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at the Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH surrounded by his loving family.

He was born December 16, 1938 in New Cumberland, WV the son of the late George "Bus" P. Bright, Sr. and Madeline (Puzzuole) Bright.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Pamela (Charlie) Kilgore.

George is survived by his loving wife, Shirley M. (Calderhead) Bright whom he married January 4, 1958; daughters, Carrie (Joe) List of Kissimmee, FL and Marisa Ross of Richmond, OH; son, Michael (Traci) Bright of Follansbee, WV; grandchildren, Shelly (Kevin) Mantei, Sean (Sarah) List and Kristy List, Caitlin and Janna Bright and Jacob and Sarah Ross; brothers, Clifford (Kathy) Bright and Charles (Wanda) Bright; sister, Marsha (Bob) Koehnlein.

George retired from the Weirton Steel Corporation and served his country in the U.S. Navy. He loved his family and  fishing.

George's arrangements are in the care of the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto and will be private at the convenience of his family.
