Gerald “Jerry” Neil Leasure age 83 of Carrollton, OH passed away June 17, 2026 at the Carrollton Golden Age Retreat, Carrollton, OH.

He was born September 6, 1942 in Toronto, OH the son of the late William D. Leasure and Palma Murial (Mayhew) Leasure.

Jerry was a 1960 graduate of Toronto High School and retired as a U.S. Postal Service Rural Letter Carrier for Middlefield, OH and he served his country during the Vietnam Era in the U.S. Air Force.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Glenda, Margie, Joann, Sheila and Alberta.

Jerry’s survivors include brother, William “Dave” Leasure (Judy) and sister, Shelby Rawson (Harry).

A service celebrating Jerry’s life was held Wednesday June 24th at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto with Mr. David Leasure officiating. Interment followed at the Island Creek Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in memory of Jerry may be directed St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
