Toronto- Gerald W. Reed, 49 of State Highway 152 passed away on Monday, May 6, 2002 in the emergency department of Trinity Medical Center West.Gerald who was preceded in death by his parents Burnard and Elizabeth Reed, and a sister Mrs. Slyvia (Reed) Blabac, was a truck driver by vocation, and a outdoorsman by avocation. A veteran of the United States Army, Gerald served in the 82nd Airborne. He is survived by his two children, Mrs. Bryan Reed and wife Paulette, and his daughter, Mrs. Stefanie (Reed) Rebres and her husband Paul; two sisters, Mrs. Marilyn (Reed) Colson, and her husband David and Mrs. Sandra (Reed) Rees. Gerald enjoyed nothing more than the time spent with his three granddaughters, Kaylee, Dayna, and Shanna Reed. He had four nieces, Mrs. Julie Brightwell, and her husband Dwayne, Mrs. Susan Archer, and husband John, Catherine Blabac, and Mrs. Michelle (Colson) Keener, and husband Edwin. Gerald also had four nephews Mr. William Hanlon, and wife Beth, John Hanlon, Michael Hanlon, and Mr. David Colson. There will be calling hours on Thursday from 6-8p.m. followed by a service at Clarke Funeral Home.
