Geraldine June Bruce, a homemaker age 81 of Brilliant, OH formerly of Mingo Jct., OH passed away Sunday February 8, 2015 at the Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH.

She was born June 18, 1933 in Hopedale, OH the daughter of the late James and Agnes Grable Emerick.

Geraldine was a member of the Rosemont Chapel of Wintersville, OH and was a 1951 graduate of Hopedale High School.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert R. Bruce in 1991 whom she married February 15, 1952; daughter, Sandy Knight in 2012; two infant children; granddaughter Darla Campbell in 2010; sisters, Jean Wilson, Sue Busby, Florence Chipps, Zelda Davis and Wilma Groh; brothers, Duane Emerick and John Emerick. Geraldine is survived by her daughters, Candy Lash of Steubenville, OH, Roberta (David) Williams of Harrisonburg, VA, Lisa (William) Haines of Steubenville, OH and Amy Bruce Morelli of Brilliant, OH; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren; sister, Sandy Shrieve of Bloomingdale, OH and son-in-law, Thomas (Sue) Knight of Mingo Jct., OH Visitation hours for Geraldine will be held from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Wednesday, February 11th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto. A graveside service will be held at the Island Creek Cemetery following visitation at the funeral home.
