Gertrude Howell - Age 91 - of Toronto, died Tuesday - December 18, 2001 at her home of natural causes.
She was born September 4, 1910 in Wayne County, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Florence Ferman Adams.
Gertrude was a member of the North River Avenue Church of Christ in Toronto.
She was retired from the former Brewsters Trailer Court Co. of Toronto.
Gertrude was preceded in death by her parents and husband Ross R. Howell who passed away in 1972 and whom she married September 15, 1928. 2 Brothers and 4 Sisters.
Her survivors are: 2 Sons: Roy Howell and wife Olive of Toronto Junior Edward Howell 4 Sisters: Lillian Howellonsworth of Charleston, WV. Pearl Vonderhide of Kenova, WV. Edith Smith of Wayne, WV. Ola Brock of Huntington, WV. 11 Grandchildren and several Great-grandchildren Friends and family will be received for visitation 12-4 PM Thursday at Clarke Funeral Home -302 Main Street, Toronto. 740-537-1234 or 800-588-1446 A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday - December 21, 2001 at Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main Street, Toronto with Pastor Robert Hanze officiating. Burial will follow at Harlem Springs Cemetery, Harlem Springs, Ohio. Memorial contributions in memory of Gertrude may be made to the North River Avenue Church of Christ, 207 N. River Avenue, Toronto, Ohio 43964
