Gladys M. Wellington, age 78 of Wintersville, formerly of Toronto, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2008 at Dixon Health Care Center.Born June 14, 1929 in Charleroi, PA she is a daughter of the late John and Susan Clarke Walker. Gladys was a homemaker and protestant by faith.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John W. Wellington whom she married May 19, 1972 and who passed away March 17, 1994. She is also preceded by four brothers; Bill, John, Tom, And Daniel; and three sisters, Florence, Sylvia, and Marian.Gladys is survived by six sons, Charles Mellott and his wife Mary of Toronto, Jeffery ''Doug'' Mellott and his wife Lorena of Cantonment, Florida, Jim Wellington, John Wellington, Bob Wellington, and Kenny Wellington; three daughters, Mrs. Judy Wagner and her husband John of Salineville, Mrs. Alice Bailey, and Mrs. Mary Margerum both of Florida.
