Golda Irene A"PegA" Warren - Age 86 - of Montclair, Virginia, a former resident of Toronto, passed away July 31, 2003 after a struggle with Parkinson''s Disease. She was born December 5, 1916 in Pinkstaff, Illinois the daughter of the late Leroy Orland York and Anna Laura Chiddix York. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband - Thomas V. Warren who passed away in 1973 and all of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Wayne L. Warren and his wife, Lyn of Montclair, Virginia. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Andrew Joseph of Fairbanks, Alaska; Thomas William of Fairfax, Virginia and Elizabeth Jane of Baltimore, Maryland.Mrs. Warren was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Toronto where she served as a member of the Gleaners Missionary Auxillary. For many years she was an active member of the Toronto Order of Eastern Star # 215. Peg will be fondly remembered for the beautiful flower gardens at her Federal Street home and many Toronto residents tend flowers and shrubs that she maintained and shared.Friends and family will be received for visitation from 6 to 9 on Monday at the Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main St. - Toronto. 740-537-1234 or 800-588-1446.The Toronto Eastern Star will conduct services 7:00 P.M.
