H. Robert Schevlin - Age 70 - of Steubenville passed away Tuesday - July 1, 2003 at his residence of natural causes.He was born October 18, 1932 in Weirton, W.Va., the son of the late Harry A. and Ethel M. Davis Schevlin.Robert is a 1952 graduate of the former Follansbee High School, a Boy Scout Leader of Troop # 43 in Toronto, retired as a Toronto Fire Department volunteer, was a former driver for the Toronto Emergency Medical Service. He was also a veteran of the Korean War having served in Korea in the U.S. Army and was a Private First Class.He is retired from the Titanium Metals Corporation of Toronto having been employed there for 38 years. He was also a former employee of the Clarke Funeral Home.Robert was preceded in death by his parents and a sister - Lavonna Schevlin.His survivors are:Wife: Carol Russell Carte Schevlin of the home whom he married July 6, 1985.3 Sons: Keith Schevlin and wife Christina of Dellroy, Ohio Dr. Kirk Schevlin and wife Trinka of Brick, New Jersey Kent Schevlin and wife Robbie of Charlotte, North CarolinaDaughter: Kristen Willett and husband Bob of Toronto2 Step-Sons: Troy Allen Carte and wife Lisa of Steubenville Kevin Carte and wife Tammy of Toronto15 grandchildren / 5 great-grandchildrenFriends and family will be received for visitation 1-4 & 6-9 Thursday and from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
