Hazel Marie Herrick, age 87 of Toronto passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at the Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.

She was born May 25, 1933 in Akron, OH the daughter of the late Alex and Olga (Cosko) Szcotka.

Hazel was a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church of Toronto and the CWC of the church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Michael G. Herrick in 2002 whom she married August 27, 1955.

Hazel is survived by her children, Cheryl Lightfritz, Deborah Herrick, Elaine Herrick, Michele Ackamar, Stephen Herrick; sister, Ruby Hinerman and brother, Michael Szcotka.

Visitation hours for Hazel will be held 11 AM to 1 PM Friday, April 30th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto followed by a service at 1 PM with officiant the Reverend Father Thomas Vennitti. Interment will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in memory of Hazel may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
