Helen Anne Ward - age 77 - of Toronto went to be with the lord surrounded by her loving family October 1, 2009 at the Trinity Medical Center - West Steubenville, OhioShe was born January 7, 1932 in Toronto the daughter of the late William J. and Anna E. Keenan McFerren.Helen Anne is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Toronto where she served as a Bible School Teacher and started the Methodist Youth Fellowship of the church / 50 year member of the Toronto Order of Eastern Star # 215 / member of the Toronto Band Parents and is a 1949 graduate of Toronto High School.She was a homeroom mother in the Toronto School System and dearly loved her children and grandchildren. She loved to cook for her family and friendsHelen Anne would welcome each Easter season the Toronto elementary school children to her home to view and enjoy her handmade Easter egg tree.She had been a designer for the former Moren''s Flower Shop of Toronto and the Colonial Garden''s Florist of Toronto.Helen Anne was preceded in death by: Parents /her beloved husband - Arthur L. Ward who passed away December 13, 2002 and whom she married September 12, 1952 having celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary before his passing / she sadly missed her brothers - Harold and William McFerren and her sisters - Kay Pastoric & Marian Richards.Her survivors are:Daughter: Sally Kuruc and husband Dr. John Kuruc of Steubenville, OhioSons: William Ward and wife Becky of Wintersville, Ohio Michael Ward and wife Julia of Canfield, OhioGranddaughters: Jessica Ward of Canfield, Ohio Lindsay Ward of Wintersville, OhioGrandsons: Arthur Ward of Canfield, Ohio Jonathan Kuruc of Steubenville, OhioFriends and family will gather for visitation 2-4 & 6-9 Monday and also from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon Tuesday at the Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main St. - Toronto. 740-537-1234 or 800-588-1446.Toronto Order of Eastern Star Services will be held 6:30 P.M.
