Obituary

Inzy Rea Markle - Age 82 - of Toronto passed away Tuesday-May 2, 2006 at the Valley Hospice Palliative Care Unit at Trinity Medical Center-East, Steubenville.She was born March 20, 1924 in Tyler County, West Virginia the daughter of the late William Bryan and Charity Jane Mossor Lewin.Inzy is a member of the Riverview United Methodist Church of Toronto where she had served as Church Secretary for 21 years. She also served on the following church committees: Membership Chairperson, Memorial Committee, Nominations & Personnel Committee and the Board of Trustees.She served as Secretary of the Toronto High School for 32 A½ years and taught adult education.Inzy was elected as the youngest woman Justice of the Peace for Island Creek Township at age 29- a position she held for the last four years when Ohio had Justices of the Peace positions. She was Mayor''s Clerk for Mayor Andrew Blaner the last three years of his term as mayor. She was a Director of the Toronto Unit of the Salvation Army at which time she established a Hometown Endowment. She was a Notary Public for 50 years. She served on the original board of the Toronto Community Chest. She is a charter member of the Toronto Retired Educators Association. Member of the Church Professional Secretaries Association and charter member of School Employees Retirement Organization.She was preceded in death by: Parents / Husband - Brooks Markle who passed away in 1976 and whom she married June 15, 1946 and a cousins Donald Mossor, Lucille Blakley and Hazel Koscho.Inzy''s survivors are:Cousins:Kathleen Sousa and husband Ray, Kenny Mossor and wife Donna, Rex Mossor and wife Betty, Jerry Mossor and wife Catherine, Herman Mossor, Bob McCourt and wife Connie, Dave Mc Court and wife Patty.Good Friend: Dr. Joseph TothFriends and family will gather for visitation 1-3 and 6-8 Thursday May 4th at the Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main Street - Toronto. 740-537-1234 or 800-588-1446.A celebration of life service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday - May 5th at the Riverview United Methodist Church - 105 N. River Ave. - Toronto with the Rev. William Hibbs and the Rev. Wayne Hogue officiating. Burial will follow at the Ft.
