Iris Jean Dawson - Age 75 - of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio - a former resident of Toronto, and New Philadelphia, Ohio, died Friday November 16, 2001 at the St. Thomas Hospital in Akron, Ohio.
She was born September 12, 1926 in Steubenville, Ohio the daughter of the late Kenneth and Jessie Stevenson Reynolds.
Iris was a graduate of the former Huron Road School of Nursing of Cleveland, Ohio.
She was retired as a registered nurse at the Morningview Nursing Home - New Philadelphia, Ohio.
Iris was preceded in death by: Parents / Husband - Ross H. Dawson who passed away in 1995 and whom she married October 18, 1947 / a daughter Patricia Henry and a granddaughter Denise.
Her survivors are: 2 Daughters: Mrs. Greg ( Susan ) Low of Stow, Ohio Mrs. Daniel ( Joan ) Burke of Cincinnati, Ohio Four Grandchildren There will be no visitation hours and a private family service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at the Toronto Union Cemetery - Toronto. Memorial contributions in memory of Iris may be made to the American Heart Association.
