James Kenneth "Hairball" Harris, age 64 of Hammondsville, OH passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at the East Liverpool City Hospital.

He was born February 8, 1952 in Steubenville, OH the son of the late Frederick John Harris and Stella Mae Grimm Harris.

James was a 1970 graduate of Stanton Local High School and was retired from the Sterling China Company, Wellsville, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Frederick Harris; sister, Melissa Harris and grandson Jarod Ryan Harris.

James is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Kay (Gill) Harris whom he married September 3, 1974; sons, James Kristopher Harris of Highlandtown, OH and Jacob Kenneth (Nikki) Harris of Ft. Worth, TX; daughter, Jennifer Kay Harris of Wellsville, OH; grandchildren, Joshua, Jesse, Jaiden, Harlie and Jaxyn Harris and expected baby Harris; brothers, Gerald K. Harris and Charles Andrew Harris both of Stratton, OH; sister, Linda (Jimmy) Excell of Hammondsville, OH.

Family and friends will have a remembrance gathering for James at the Elevate Him Ministries, 1329 Main St., Wellsville, OH 43968 Saturday, February 13th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

To honor James' wishes he will be cremated.

In lieu of flowers food and monetary donations may be made to James' family.

James' arrangements are in the care of the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main Street, Toronto.
