James Lawrence Isleman, age 68, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, formerly of Toronto, Ohio passed away Sunday July 31, 2011 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.Jim was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father Clarence James Isleman, his stepfather John Charles Isleman and brother Dana Charles Isleman.Jim graduated from Toronto High School, Toronto, Ohio class of 1961 and served his country in the United States Army.Jim was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed home remodeling and was an avid fisherman.Jim is survived by his wife Margaret, daughter Penny of Minneapolis and son Frank Kerr of Michigan. His son James and daughters Christina and Susan from a previous marriage. His mother Vera D. Isleman of Minnesota, his brother Stanley (Charlene) of Toronto, Ohio, his sister Sandra (Ken Scott) of Dayton and brothers Daryl (Missy) and Raymond (Frankie) of Minnesota and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.Funeral arrangements are pending at this time.
