James William Landis, age 87 of East Liverpool, OH passed away Sunday January 12, 2025 at his home.

He was born March 17, 1937 in Weirton, WV the son of the late Gerald William and Madeline Louise (Thomas) Landis. Also preceded in death by a sister, Louise Landis and nephew Brian Eddy.

James was a member of the Covenant Church of Naples, FL, he loved to golf and cheer on the Pittsburgh Steelers.  He was retired as owner and investments consultant of American Pension Benefits, Inc of Wexford, PA.

He along with Covenant Church members went to Haiti with supplies and food on several humanitarian missions.

James is survived by his daughters, Lynn Ann (John) Pukylo and Terri Jane Landis; grandchildren, Nicole, Courtney, Abbey and James; great grandchildren, Bailee, Gavin, Brooke and Charli; sister, Carole Eddy and nieces, Janet and Suzy.

Jame's arrangements are private and are in the care of the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.

Memorial contributions in memory of James are directed to a Humane Society of the donor's choosing.
