James N. McElwain - Age 79 - of County Road 56 - Toronto passed away suddenly at his home of natural causes Wednesday - November 15th.He was born August 18, 1927 in Steubenville the son of the late Geoffrey and Lula Alvis McElwain.James was an avid woodworker and craftsman.He is a W.W.II era U.S. Navy VeteranJames was a long time employee of the former Federal Paperboard Co. of Steubenville and was retired from the Halifax Paperboard Co. in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.He was preceded in death by: Parents / Wife- Sheila B.
