James "Jim" Paul Yaskanich, age 85 of Township Road 375 Toronto passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.

Jim was born May 30, 1938 in Windber, PA

He was a member of the New Somerset Christian Church and was a 1957 graduate of Toronto High School.

Jim was retired from TIMET and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by a beloved daughter-in-law, Shari Yaskanich, and his parents.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Jean (Tice) Yaskanich whom he married September 3, 1966; two sons, Jim Yaskanich and Bill (Lori) Yaskanich; two grandchildren, Andrew (Janelle) Yaskanich and Nathan (Ashley) Yaskanich and several half siblings.

Jim enjoyed working outdoors on the family farm and visiting with friends and family. He was a loving Pap Pap to his grandchildren and will be sincerely missed.

A private family visitation and service for Jim will be held at the Clarke Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Minto officiating. Interment will follow at the Center Chapel Cemetery.
