Jamie Lee Huyghe

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Jamie L. Huyghe, aged 47 who departed this life at his residence on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Jamie was the beloved son of Terry (Peggy) Huyghe and brother of Amber Huyghe of Angleton, Texas, and Ashlee Huyghe of Weirton. A graduate of Edison High School, Jamie showcased his musical talents as a drummer in the high school band. His cherished pastimes included attending Edison's football games, often accompanied by his friend Nick or his father Terry, while also supporting The Ohio State football team. In death, Jamie is preceded by his mother, Cynthia (Huyghe) Moehrig, stepfather John Moehrig, and his grandparents, Eugene and Margaret Huyghe, and Donald and Elizabeth Nicholson. Throughout his career, Jamie worked for several years at Steubenville Pizza Hut and later at the Pizza Hut location in Angleton, Texas, before returning to the Steubenville area to work at Amazon in Pittsburgh, PA. He leaves behind his two beloved feline companions, Lucy and Ethel. A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Weirton VFW Post #2716 Hall, 3435 Main Street., Weirton, WV, at 2:00 pm. In lieu of floral arrangements, the family kindly requests monetary donations to assist with funeral expenses.
