Janet Mae Brown, age 84 passed away at her home Thursday October 30, 2025.

She was born August 17, 1941 in Toronto the daughter of the late William and Lois Ruth (Hudson) Huber. Also preceded in death by sister, Jane Gibbs; brothers, Roland "Bud" Brown, Phillip James Brown, Sr. and Charles "Chuck" Brown and companion James Sines

Janet's children include Barbie Gerkins and husband Bill, Sandy Sines, James Sines and wife Kristi, and Daniel Sines; grandchildren, Heidi Wright and husband George, Christina Zepernick and husband Chris, Sarah Sines, Andy Holmes, Brandie Ryder and husband Mike; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Janet was a 1960 graduate of Toronto High School and was retired from the Toronto School System as a custodian.

Family and friends will gather for visitation from 11 AM to 1 PM Wednesday November 5th at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto. A celebration service of Janet's life will follow at 1 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Rob Minto officiating. Interment will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery.
