Janice "Jan" Lee Aldridge, age 74 of Toronto passed away Sunday December 11, 2022 at Passavant Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born March 3, 1948 in Steubenville the daughter of the late John F. Haynes, Sr. and June (Davis) Haynes

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Judy (Dave Sr) Maple and brothers James (Cyndy) and Jeffrey (Theresa) Haynes.

She was a member of the Wintersville United Methodist Church and was retired after 28 years of service from the Edison Local School District as a secretary.

Jan is survived by her husband, Thomas David Aldridge, Sr. whom she married October 2, 1968; sons, Thomas David (Alexa) Aldridge, Jr. of Port Washington, WI, Timothy B. (Barbara Reed and her children, Tyler, Kaitlin and Brooke) Aldridge and Daniel Alan Aldridge of Toronto; step-daughter, Koren (Michael) Harless of Steubenville; bonus son, Christopher (Lindsay) Bomely of Toronto; grandchildren, Anthe, Alek, Alyssa, Phoebe, Finn and Lucy; special great-granddaughter, Autumn; brothers, John (Lali) Haynes, Jr of Toronto and Jerome (Theresa) Haynes of Germano, OH and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Jan worked to be an example of Christ's love to all she touched.

Visitation hours for Jan will be held 1-3  and 5-7 PM Thursday, December 15th at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.

A celebration service of Jan's life will be held at 11 AM Friday, December 16th at the funeral home with Reverend Doctor Clint Quillen of the Wintersville United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Island Creek Cemetery.

Memorial offerings in memory of Jan may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude PL, Memphis, TN 38105-9959
