Jean E. Leasure, age 93 of Toronto, OH passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 at the Laurels of Steubenville.

She was born November 12, 1922 in Toronto, OH the daughter of the late Robert and Mildred (Ealy) Steele.

Jean was a long time member of the North River Avenue Christian Church of Toronto; a 1941 graduate of Toronto High School and retired after 22 years from the former Hancock Manufacturing Company of Toronto, OH as the company telephone operator.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene A. Leasure who passed away in 1963 whom she married December 20, 1945; brother Robert Steele and sister Ruth Rosensteel.

Jean is survived by her sons, Dennis K. Leasure of Kidron, OH and Kenneth P. Leasure of Seattle, WA; grandson, Keith R. (Bobbie Jo) Leasure of Smithfield, OH; great-grandsons, Tyler and Corey Leasure and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours for Jean will be held from 4 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, June 28th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH

A celebration service of Jean's life will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday, June 29th at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery.
