Jefferson Roland Gough age 78 of Hammondsville passed away Sunday March 16, 2025 at his residence of natural causes.

He was born April 21, 1946 the son of the late Ross and Mary (Landis) Gough.

Jefferson was a dedicated farmer. He was in charge of the Wilson Miniature Show Pony farm; was a four star General in the Columbiana County Militia and had retired as a mechanic for the Green Valley Turf Farms in North Lima, OH.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Aileen Ann (Hudson) Gough whom he married June 14, 1966; sister, Jane Johnson and brother, David Buckle.

Jefferson is survived by his daughter, Evelyn Plumm and husband David; grandsons, David Plumm, Jr. and wife Jennifer and Troy Plumm; great granddaughter, Violet Plumm and great grandsons, Jase Plumm and Oliver Plumm; Sister, Catherine Grimes and brothers, Raymond Johnson, Bill Buckle and caregiver, Ellen DeLaeder.

Friends and family will gather for visitation from 10 AM to 1 PM Saturday March 22nd at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH.

A celebration of Jefferson's life service for will be held Saturday at 1 PM at the funeral home with speaker's Melissa Grimm and family members participating.

Interment will follow at the Highlandtown Cemetery next to his beloved wife Aileen. Together again.
