John Edward Brown, age 51 of Toronto, OH passed away surrounded by his family at his home Sunday, August 31, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born November 7, 1962 in Steubenville, OH.
John was a dedicated firefighter member of the Toronto Volunteer Fire Department; was a 1982 graduate of Toronto High School and was employed by Amerigas of Aliquippa, PA as a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip James Brown, Sr. in 1984; grandson, Jayden M. Brown in 2009 and sister Lois Ramsey in 2012. John''s survivors are his wife, Tammy Jo (Burr) Brown whom he married October 26, 1985; mother Mae (Dawson) Brown of Toronto; son, Shawn (Amber) Brown of Toronto, OH; granddaughters, Madison and Paityn Brown of Toronto, OH; brother, Phillip James (Pam) Brown, Jr. of Toronto, OH and sister, Linda Mae (Sam) Beckett of Toronto, OH.
