John Joseph Carouthers, age 64 of Toronto passed away Monday December 1, 2025 at his residence.

John was born June 19, 1961 in Steubenville. He was the son of Stephen Adam and Carol Lee (Anderson) Carouthers and was also preceded in death by his sister, Lynne Prosser.

He is survived by a brother, Stephen Carouthers, Jr.; nephews, Stephen Carouthers III; Nicholas, Jim Starkey and wife Jamie nieces, Suzie, Julie Ohalek and husband Doug; Jessica Warnock and husband Cody and many great nieces and nephews survive.

He was a graduate of St. Mary's High School.

John was a very friendly guy. He traveled all around Toronto in his electric scooter and loved to sit on a bench outside of his former residence at 3rd Street waving to folks as they passed in their cars. They always  honked and waved back to him.

John's arrangements are private and are in the care of the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.
