John Raymond Channels of Toronto, age 65, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, June 7, 2026.

He was born September 23, 1960, the son of the late John Edward Channels and Mary (Baker) McDonald who survives.

John had been employed most recently at AutoZone, and previously had worked in construction and as a John Deere mechanic.

In addition to his father, John was preceded in death by a half-brother, Johnny Channels.

John’s surviving family includes his wife Cheryl Ann (Walker) Channels whom he married January 1, 1979; sons, John Channels and Josh (Tiffany) Channels; grandchildren, Brianna, Sophie, Lincoln, and Caroline; sisters, Debbie, Tina and half-sister Kandi, and brother, Kurt.

Visitation hours for family and friends of John's will be held from 5 to 7 PM Wednesday July 1st at the Clarke Funeral Home.
